As the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC sets to begin Voters registration exercise ahead of August 8, 2026 governorship election in Osun state, the Chief of Staff to the governor, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye has implored residents who are up to 18 years and above to troop out enmass for the exercise.
The exercise, according to the election umpire is slated to commence on 18th August, 2025.
Akinleye, in a statement issued and personally signed in Osogbo on Friday enjoined Osun residents who are yet to get their Permanent Voters Card to take the advantage, as that is the only yardstick to get their governor reelected.
