Tyson Fury has defeated Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas, with a devastating knockout, retaining World Boxing Council heavyweight championship

In the trilogy fight, ‘The Gypsy King’ was dropped twice by Wilder in a breath-taking fourth round.

But he rose to his feet to claim the victory, finishing his exhausted opponent in the 11th.

Fury will now hope to unify the division when he takes on either Oleksandr Uysk or Anthony Joshua in 2022.

The two rivals first match in December 2018 ended a draw.

But Fury dominated Wilder in their first rematch in February 2020 to win the title.

Wilder demanded the trilogy fight having parted company with former trainer Mark Breland.

But the change was in vain, with Fury dominating his rival in similar fashion to close the book on their three-year rivalry.
