The Special Adviser to the Governor on Cooperatives and Empowerment, Hon. Durojaye Isaac, has congratulated Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, on his prestigious conferment of Honorary Doctorate degree award by the esteemed Valley View University, Ghana.
He described the prestigious award as a testimony to Adeleke’s administration unbending desire to take Osun to new heights, unwavering dedication to public service, leadership excellence, and his significant contributions to the growth and development of Osun State.
“The honorary degree was conferred on Governor Adeleke for his delivery on good governance and for being a model in Africa’s search for good governance”.
He said the university reviewed the governor’s antecedent as a businessman and former senator alongside his ethical leadership since assuming the governorship of Osun State, Nigeria to arrive at its decision.
Durojaye commended the Governor for his commitment in promoting education, leadership, and fostering international collaborations that bring honor to the state. The conferment of this Honorary Doctorate Degree Award underscores the global acknowledgment of Senator Adeleke’s outstanding leadership qualities.
The Special Adviser praised Adeleke for his exemplary governance, visionary policies and programmes, and relentless efforts in ensuring the welfare and progress of the people of Osun State. “Senator Adeleke’s leadership has not only transformed the state but set a standard for others to follow”.
Hon. Durojaye expressed confidence that this well-deserved award will further inspire Senator Adeleke in his tireless efforts to uplift the standard of living of the citizens of Osun State.
As Osun State continues to thrive under Senator Adeleke’s visionary leadership, Durojaye therefore, looks forward to witness greater accomplishments and advancements for the state.
Recalled that Governor was a convocation guest speaker at Valley View University, Ghana, on Sunday, delivered lecture titled; “Imparting Excellence, Integrity and Service: Nurturing Ethical Leaders in Changing World for which the Governor called on leaders to sustain good governance to safe democracy in Africa”.
