The Commissioner for works in Osun state, Oluremi Omowaiye has promised the people of the state especially his constituent which is Ilesha township of various goodies to be distributed during the yuletide season.
The gifts promised by the Commissioner includes Agege Bread, spicy bread known as bread alata, plantain delicacy in Ikire also known as dodo ikire and other confectionery.
One may wonder why a whole commissioner could only boast about these snacks?
Omowaiye seen in this video rendered in Yoruba language, dressed in Santa Claus robe made the video to announce his yuletide season package for the people of Ilesha.
The video started with the Commissioner introducing himself as “Santa Omowaiye” apologizing for the late start of this year’s yuletide giveaway which has been his hallmark.
He attributed the lateness to omicron and a flat tyre suffered along Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Omowaiye also known as king of Boys and class captain is a grassroot politician known across Ilesha and environs.
The video apparently is to acquaint the people of his readiness to storm Ilesha in no distant time for yuletide gift presentation and his Agege is metaphorical of various things to be distributed.
The video ended with Omowaiye re-emphasising his commitment to the second term agenda of the state governor Gboyega Oyetola.
