The National Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile, has declared the party’s full readiness to secure victory in the upcoming Anambra State governorship election, scheduled for November 8, 2025.

Speaking at a high-profile stakeholders’ meeting, Dr. Alile emphasized the importance of unity, grassroots mobilization, and women’s active participation in politics as key strategies for ensuring APC’s triumph in the state.

“We are set to deliver APC in Anambra. The time has come for real transformation, and we are mobilizing every resource to ensure victory,” she stated.

Dr. Alile called on party members, particularly women, to take an active role in canvassing support across all 21 local government areas of the state.

She highlighted APC’s track record of progress at the national level and urged the people of Anambra to embrace the party’s vision for economic growth, security, and infrastructural development.

“Women have a significant role to play in shaping Anambra’s future. This election is not just about politics—it is about ensuring better governance for our people,” she added.

The APC Women’s Wing has intensified efforts to consolidate support ahead of the elections, with strategic outreach programs targeting women, youths, and grassroots communities.

Anambra APC Women Leader, Lady Maria Ejielo, also reinforced the commitment of women leaders to ensuring the party’s success, urging women to reject political intimidation and actively participate in the electoral process.

The upcoming election is expected to be a defining moment in Anambra’s political landscape, with APC positioning itself as the party to beat.

Party leaders, including former Governor Chris Ngige, have expressed optimism about APC’s chances, stressing the need for cohesion and a strong campaign strategy.

With the backing of the national leadership, a clear campaign agenda, and widespread mobilization, APC is determined to wrest control of Anambra from the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and usher in a new era of governance.
