Arogbo born popular blogger, rapper, sociologist, affiliate marketer and records promoter, Nigbeke Perekontei, well known as PJay West on stage has warned, Governor Arakunrin Akeredolu over the adoption of Oduduwa anthem in Ondo State.
In a statement PJay West made in his office at Arogbo, says that “Governor Arakunrin Akeredolu (SAN) want all Ondo state people to adopt Oduduwa anthem and he has forgot that, all tribe in Ondo state are not Yoruba’s”, and Ijaws are not from Oduduwa origin.
According to the popular blogger, PJay West, opined that, Ijaw tribe is the fourth largest tribe in Nigeria and it is the minority ethnic group in Ondo state ,reside at Ese-Odo local government area of the state. Having over 250 communities and cities.
In particularly, Arogbo is the traditional headquarters of Arogbo Ijaw-Ibe kingdom and all its inhabitants are basically speaking Ijaw dialect and they cannot adopt Oduduwa anthem by all means.
Mr. Governor, you should be warned that, the Ijaw people residing at Ondo state are Niger Deltan’s not Oduduwa. You should be set our regions apart for this ethnical balkanisation and ideological infringement. He added.
