Leadership, a service to humanity requires selflessness, focus and the needed potentials to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of people handed to a few majority. It is a responsibility where such individuals are vested with the responsibility of steering and shaping the lives of others with their commonwealth.

It is service. A service that must worth the effort. In every political engagement, premium is always placed on seeking the greatest goal for the greatest number of the people in a society. That is why at the centre of every political journey/quest to attain a political seat, efforts must be consciously made to centralise the people as the window through the political power to rule is either won or lost.

The soul of Politics is the grassroots where everything happens. It is populated mostly by women who galvanise support for such political party. This brings one to the question, Why do they find it hard to allowing women to govern? After all, they are key players in the political project.

Events in history revealed the number of women who have tasted public office and used the opportunity to transform the lives of the people.

One of them is the highly cerebral and enterprising Sakirat Adeoye Iyaniwura. As a grassroots politics, Iyaniwura possess all the needed qualities in administration especially at the Local Government level. She combines humility with integrity, a great sense of hardwork.

Until her last appointment, Iyaniwura was the Deputy Leader of the House in the council area.

During her stay in office, she implemented various programmes in terms of empowerment, basic amenities among varying initiatives in her Ward of ……. Olorunda North LCDA.

Iyaniwura is a leader on all fronts. With her at the helms of affairs, she would continue to propagate the good works of our amiable and performing Governor, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola. As a united entity, we can achieve.

Iyaniwura is ever committed to the IleriOluwa project. She has led various grassroots meetings and sensitisation all in a bid to ensure the re-election of Governor Oyetola by the people of Olorunda North LCDA.

If the level of development we desire as a society is driven by the people being at the forefront of those lofty ideas, then Women like Sakirat Adeoye Iyaniwura should be tested and trusted with Leadership and be assured that the wheel of her community’s progress is in the right hand.

With her experience and track record in Politics, she is ready to deliver to the people of Olorunda North LCDA a people oriented administration devoid of sentiments and unethical practices. She is committed to the people and they will always be her watchword.

When they say a Woman cannot win elections, they forget that even the elections men spearhead, it is the untiring efforts of women who work day and night to actualise such dreams and aspirations. What a man can do, a Woman can do it, even much better.

The people of Olorunda North LCDA can relax and throw full weight behind their own, a strong willed woman with vigour and passion for a purposeful leadership. For the development Olorunda North LCDA is yearning for, Iyaniwura is the answer.
