A member House of Representative, representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Honorable Wole Oke has felicitated with his constituents and all Nigerians on the country’s 64th independence anniversary.

Hon. Wole acknowledged the sacrifices and heroic contributions of past heroes, emphasizing that their labour has not been in vain.

According to him, “I send out this new month message commemorating the birth of our nation and the growth and progress we have made so far!

“Growing comes with great sacrifice and labour. The sacrifice and heroic contributions of our past heroes cannot be forgotten, even in a hurry. Several people had put a lot into this nation-building, and it is evident that their labour has not been in vain.
Our nation, just like every other nation, has gotten its own portion of history replete with pains, struggles, loss, war, and challenges. Yet, we have gone far, and the success recorded as a nation cannot be glossed over.

“We have got to cover a lot of ground to meet up with the developed nations and make our heroes past proud even in their graves. This calls for the collective contributions of all of us. May God bless our nation!

“At this junction at 64, I want us to imbibe the spirit of love, tolerance, and empathy even in diversity. These are necessary ingredients for our nation to occupy its rightful place in the comity of nations.

“I also want to encourage us to put on our garment of patriotism for our nation and support developing a nation that works for all.
It is my prayer that God Almighty will heal our nation, strengthen our cords, and guide our leaders aright.
As I thank you for your unalloyed supports, trust and constant believe in me, I hereby wish to reiterate that Obokun/ Oriade’s constuents wellbeing is my priority. Youth empowerment, education and poverty alleviation are my concern. All these are what I have been doing and withe God on our side, I will not relent .

“The sacrifices of today will surely yield a brighter, more rewarding future for all of us. I thereby join millions of Nigerians, especially my good people of Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, to celebrate the 64th Independence anniversary of our great nation, Nigeria!

“Just as I bid us Happy New Month, I enjoin us to celebrate the anniversary of our independence.
