The Special Adviser to the Osun State Governor on Cooperatives and Empowerment, Hon. Durojaye Isaac Kolawole has rejoiced with the Osun State Peoples Democratic Party Chairman, Hon. Sunday Bisi on his conferment of “Award of Excellence”, as the Grassroot Politician of the Year by the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Osun State.
Durojaye made this known in his congratulatory message, described Bisi as a man of all parts who has contributed immensely to the development of the PDP, his community and Osun State.
According to him, this award is in recognition of his commitment and dedication to the grassroot politics in the state and as a good party mobilizer. This award is a well deserved one which will further spur him to continue the good work he has been doing for the party, who led PDP to return to power in the state.
“The State PDP scribe has invested his wealth into the party, his loyalty, commitment and dedication to grassroot politics cannot be quantified”, Durojaye said.
“The Special Adviser noted that his principle of loyalty to the PDP will be to open a page that can not be ended through any written piece. He described the Chairman as a man that has contributed to people’s lives without knowing them.
“He is a landmark in the PDP and grassroot politics. He understands the nuances of grassroot politics. He has done a lot to assist people through party politics. He is worthy and eminently qualified to bag the award”
“A lot of people have attested to the stability roles he played in Osun politics. I appreciate him for everything he is doing for humanity especially Osun politics. May Sunday Bisi live long on earth in good health. He has been playing great and positive roles in PDP,” he said.
“His activities have made indelible mark in the lives of people and the impacts he made in Osun politics cannot be quantified. It is my believe that this award will be a further call to continue to serve humanity through grassroot politics”.
Durojaye further described the PDP chief as an exceptional politician with untainted integrity, unflinching commitment to set objective which contributed to the ruling status of the party in Osun state today.
“This award is a reminder of the incredible sacrifice you offered and how much your firm commitment to the cause of the people played a huge role in the emancipation of Osun state from ruinous elements.
“Through your actions and words, you have proved to be a worthy leader whose contributions to the current status of our dear Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state cannot be wished away”, he added.
