The Planning Committee for the Dodoede 3 in 1 event has announced that all is set for the highly anticipated celebration of Otunba Ismail Adekunle Abolade’s (Dodoede) 20 years in the broadcast media industry, his birthday, and a N200 million fundraising for his new movie project, “Amobi Eso.”
The 3 in 1 event will take place on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Adolak Event Hall, Osogbo, Osun State.
The committee, in a statement on Friday signed by, Publicity Secretary, Planning Committee, Mukhtar Ajelogbon disclosed that dignitaries from within and outside Nigeria will start arriving in Osun from Saturday, February 15, 2025.
According to the committee, “Today Friday 14th February, 2025 is significant because it is the birthday of the celebrant. We celebrate and cherish him, while efforts by the planning committee led by Chief Sunday Ayesoro as Chairman and the Secretary,, Prince Adedayo Adeyemi to have a smooth and fruitful event have yielded positive results, workable plans to implement them on Sunday are in top gear.
“Dignitaries within and outside Nigeria will start arriving in Osun from tomorrow Saturday while our professional vendors who will handle various aspects of the event are already in Osogbo for the smooth running of activities ahead of Sunday.
“Security of lives and property during the event is guaranteed. We’ve engaged almost all security agencies in Osun and beyond, such as the Nigerian Army, DSS, Police, Bouncers, Amotekun among others will be on standby throughout the event.
“However, we are reaffirming the need for every individual who has shown interest in one way or the other to attend the event with their access cards as gate fees. Wearing the Aso-Ebi (Ankara) does not guarantee free entry without the access card. We are assuming all participants of adequate security and welfare in terms of a peaceful atmosphere, foods and drinks at the event.
“The primary objective of the programme is to celebrate and support the man of the moment who has been friend and generous to many people around him. We urge the people to genuinely support Otunba Adekunle Abolade Dodoede by donating handsomely to the N200m Amobi Eso movie to boost his career.
“The red carpet of the epoch event, under the Chairmanship of Alhaji Aloba Issa Abdulateef CEO ACE Lubricants will start at 11:00AM, while Dr Olayinka Joel Ayefele (MON) will be the Chief Host, His Royal Majesty Oba (Dr) Hammed Adekunle Oyelude Makama (CON) is the Royal Father of the day.
