As Muslims faithful across the world celebrate the Ed-el-Kabir 1441Ah, a prominent politician and member of the All Progressives Congress APC, Ejigbo local government area of Osun State, Engineer Taiwo Sina Ibraheem has charged Osun residents to continue to pray to Allah to end the coronavirus pandemic.
The Ejigbo born politician, made the charge in his Ed-el-Kabir congratulatory message on Friday personally signed, made available to newsmen, said the COVID-19 is the greatest enemy that is facing human being adding that only God intervention can end the pandemic
Ibraheem also urged the residents to avoid all forms of disregard capable of spreading the virus during and after festival adding that NCDC guidelines and government directive to end the novel virus should be observed.
He admonished Muslims to have total submission to the will of God and love their neighbours.
According to him, We can only overcome the present situation through our commitment with Allah. Prophet Ibrahim was rewarded after his sacrifice, patience, generosity and obedience to the Creator.
“The lessons of this festival we must have absolute belief and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, give charity and love our neighbours.
“Governor Gboyega Oyetola effort in the fight against coronavirus is commendable and we need to support government in order to have speed recovery of economy.
“Allah heal the world from this unavoidable pandemic, You are the only person who can heal the world, we are lazy and incapacitated to do anything.” he said
