A member of the House of Representatives, Honorable Yinusa Amobi has reiterated his commitment in providing dividends of democracy to the people of his constituents through impactful bills.
Amobi, who is representing Ayedire, Iwo and Olaoluwa federal constituency of Osun State in the National Assembly, said the newly established Federal College of Education Iwo will create more job opportunity to his constituents and Osun people at large.
He stressed that the institution will enhance the economy of the community which the school was situated.
The Federal Lawmaker disclosed this on Wednesday while addressing Osun State Broadcasting Commissioner ,OSBC, NUJ chapel in Osogbo.
He further said that he will continue to prioritize the welfare of his constituents, adding that he will continue to deliver on his campaign promises.
According to Amobi , stomach infrastructure, through empowerment and other social interventions are part of what citizens enjoy from their representatives in order for them to live a decent life.
Speaking on his achievements in the last two years of his representation at the green chamber , Amobi said 200 Women and Youths have benefited from his training acquisition on the skill of Tie and Dye, Beads Making and Hair Dressing.
“This skill acquisition training programme was in line with the current vogue in wears and fashion design. Held in collaboration with the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), the training was anchored by NICO staffs, Ilorin, Kwara State” he said.
“Over 145 youths and women were trained on soap, detergent, hypo, and hazier making through professional body called RED TRUST Nigeria Limited.
“50 farmers across Iwo Federal Constituency were trained on the importance of Bio-safety to Agriculture,
To achieve the objective of this training, Hon Amobi’s committee worked in collaboration with the National Bio-safety Management Agency, which ensured that a professional in the field, Maltec Construction Limited, anchored the programme.
“Other interventions from the Lawmaker is provision and installation of 500KVA at Obátè/Mógàjí area, Iwo
Agbowo area, Iwo, electricity supply to the residents of Odo-ori area, Iwo, was strengthened by 300 KVA transformer.
Amobi, a All Progressives Congress, APC, lawmaker, however, called on his constituents to continue to support Governor Gboyega Oyetola by reelecting him for another four years , saying the governor is poised to paddle the state to enviable height amon the committee of states in Nigeria.
“Osun is blessed with a competent governor who is prudent in managing her resources, Oyetola deserves another term,” he said.
