Olayomi Koiki, media aide to Yoruba agitator, Sunday Adeyemo (Igboho) has raised the alarm over a planned attack on his principal’s house located at Soka, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The aide made the claim in a statement sent to SaharaReporters.
According to him, there are plans underway by some unscrupulous elements to attack Igboho’s house and cause ruins to the place.
He further called on the state governor, Seyi Makinde and the Commissioner of Police, Ngozi Onadeko, to immediately deploy security officers to protect the house.
“We got information of a planned attack on Chief Sunday Igboho’s house in Soka by some elements of Oyo State citizens.
“We are using this to tell the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde and the CP of Oyo state to protect lives and property.
“For those planning such evil, we encourage them not to allow anyone use them for evil.”
He also said on Facebook, “Those who are planning to attack Chief Sunday Igboho’s house at Soka, we are warning you not to try it. Anyone making efforts to bring the house to ruin, we are warning you now. You might be thinking that the one you have done before, nothing was done against you and now you want to try another, don’t dare.
“We learnt that some people want to burn down the house, but we are warning them not to try it because Igboho had not done anything wrong. The government is just after him for nothing. At the moment, they’ve chased him to the Benin Republic. He has been there for six months now.”
