A chairmanship aspirant under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifelodun-North Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Osun State, Prince Abdulrauf Adeniyi Olaniyan, has felicitated with the state Governor Gboyega Oyetola, on the celebration of the 29th anniversary of the creation of the state.
Olaniyan in a congratulatory message issued and personally signed copies of which made available with newsmen in Osogbo, also congratulated the founding fathers of the state who craved the idea of creating the state out of old Oyo state.
He particularly eulogised the committment of governor Adegboyega Oyetola who through his doggedness and total committment enrolled the state on the map of the best state in the southwestern region.
Prince Olaniyan remarked that the political administration of Governor Oyetola has been a monumental blessing to the state as indicated by visible developmental projects that are spread across the state.
The Eko-Ende-born Prince disclosed that it won’t be an overstatement to observe that Osun State has been reaping the benefits of continuity of government through the APC administration.
He said that, it was visible to the blind, audible to the deaf and tangible to the idiots that the government in power in the state has been increasing the fortune of the state in all ramifications.
Olaniyan enjoined the people of the state to be steadfast in their support for the APC-led government in the state in the interest of further development of the state.
The LCDA chairmanship aspirant reminded the people that it is only the APC that has genuine vision and mission to positively transform the state.
He disclosed further that it is known to all and sundry that the Oyetola-led government has been a listening one that patiently and promptly addresses any challenges facing any part of the state.
Olaniyan stated further that his resolve to vie for the chairmanship seat of his LCDA is to enable him to actively complement the subsisting efforts of Governor Oyetola to develop the state particularly at the grassroots level.
According to him: “I am indeed impressed by the superlative achievements of my boss, Governor Oyetola, who has been striving to develop the state despite the obvious paucity of fund.
“Discerning minds would not agree less with me that since the creation of our state 29 years ago, our party, the APC, has contributed immensely to the development of the state”, he said.
The Eko-Ende-born Prince disclosed further that he was convinced beyond reasonable doubt that the developmental story of the state would be far better by the time the state would be celebrating 30th anniversary of the creation of the state.
