As the presidential election which is scheduled for February 25 is fast approaching, I want to admonish students not to hearken to calls by the politicians who intend to use them as an instrument for violence on Election Day.
Students should have it at the back of their minds that children of the contestants and political panjandrums are abroad gleefully enjoying; they will never surface during the election.
Students and youths generally should cast their votes for the candidate they desire.
Also, for the upcoming election to be fair like the unforgettable 1993 election in Nigeria, INEC should maintain the sterling characters of transparency, honesty among others.
Refusal to possess these characters by INEC officials may amount to nullification by a court of law if an anomaly is later noticed.
