Agboluaje Foundation Commiserates APC National Secretary Over Mother’s Death

The Agboluaje Kajola Foundation (AKF) has expressed deep condolences to the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, following the passing of his mother, Alhaja Sidikat Abake Basiru.

The foundation, a philanthropic organisation established by Dr. Kayode Adegbulugbe to combat poverty and promote financial independence among small-scale business owners, farmers and artisans across South-West Nigeria, described the late matriarch as a woman whose life was defined by faith, humility and service to humanity.

In a statement issued on Monday by the Foundation’s Global Team Leader, Dr. Bakare Oladimeji, AKF said the death of the matriarch of the Basiru family of Odofin’s Compound, Osogbo, was a painful loss not only to her family but also to everyone whose life she touched through her compassion, kindness and exemplary character.

According to the statement, the late Alhaja Sidikat Abake Basiru lived an impactful life, leaving behind enduring values of integrity, generosity and unwavering commitment to the well-being of her family and the society.

The Foundation prayed that Almighty Allah forgives her shortcomings, grants her eternal rest in Aljanah Firdaus, and gives Senator Ajibola Basiru, the entire Basiru family and all loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

AKF further urged the bereaved family to find comfort in the remarkable legacy she left behind, expressing confidence that her life of service and noble virtues would continue to inspire generations to come.

The Foundation concluded by praying for peace, comfort and divine guidance for the family during this difficult period of mourning.
