CHRICED Radio/TV Station Manager, Omoniyi To Speak at MAOS Seminar in Iree

The Station Manager of CHRICED Radio/TV, Omoniyi Busuyi Kolawole will on Thursday, August 28, 2025 lead presentation at one-day seminar for graduating students of Mass Communication Department, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.

The seminar organised by Mass Communication Alumni of Osun State Polytechnic Iree (MAOS) in an annual event to bridge the gap between the classroom and happenings in media industry.

Omoniyi, a former Head of News for CoolFM/Wazobia/ArewaFM Kano and Training Consultant will speak on the theme: Exploring solution journalism for national development.

MAOS Public Relations Officer, Oyewale Oyelola in a statement issued on Thursday says Dr. Aderemi Adeagbo (OSPOLY Lecturer), Mr. Tobi Folorunsho (UNIOSUN Lecturer), Mr. Michael Leshi (Broadcaster at Orisun Igbomina FM) and Oyewale Oyelola (NGIJ Vice President) will serve as discussants at the event holding at NLH 1, OSPOLY Campus, Iree.

The Rector of the Polytechnic, Alhaji Kehinde Alabi, Dean of Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mr. Oladoye and Dean Student Affairs, Dr. Tope Abiola are expected to grace the occasion. While Head of Mass Communication Department, Dr. Idowu Akinrosoye and MAOS President, Adekunle Sikiru will serve as Chief host and host respectively.
