UCL: You can’t control them – Liverpool coach, Slot singles out two Real Madrid players

Liverpool head coach, Arne Slot has singled out two Real Madrid players for praise following his side’s UEFA Champions League 1-0 win on Tuesday.

Slot said Real Madrid duo Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe can’t be control as Liverpool defeated the LaLiga giants at Anfield.

Recall that a second-half goal from Mac Allister ensured that Liverpool defeated Xabi Alonso’s side.

Speaking at his post-match interview after the game, Slot said: “You can’t control these two players, neither Mbappé nor Vinícius.

“Their best chance was when Vinícius passed to Bellingham. They have very good players across the pitch, and it’s very difficult to completely contain them.

“We did the best we could with players like Mbappé and Vinícius.”

Liverpool will now face Manchester City in the Premier League in their next game this weekend.
