Budget Presentation: Osun ALGON Chair, Idowu Abiodun Lauds Successful Exercise Across 30 LGAs

Ifedayo Local Government Chairman and Chairman, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Osun State Chapter, Hon. Samuel Idowu Abiodun has lauded his colleagues across the 30 Local Government Areas of the state on the successful completion of the budget presentations.

Hon. Abiodun attributed seamless constitutional exercise across the council to the shared vision of the Osun Council bosses to turn around the socioeconomic fortunes of their respective Councils.

ALGON Chairman in a statement personally signed on Tuesday congratulated the citizens and residents of Osun over the successful exercise saying “it is a new dawn to restore the lost glory of quality local government administration in Osun State.”

He reaffirming the determination to good governance and grassroots transformation by the APC led Councils in the state.

According to him, the seamless and successful presentations of the 2026 fiscal budget proposals across the 30 Local Government Areas is a clear testimony to our cardinal objective to hit the ground running and bring all round growth and development to the grassroots.

“This is an indication to the fact that our Councils are running under the leadership of their respective chairmen and their executives. I commend our people across the councils for demonstrating the desired commitment and providing leadership capable of advancing the cause of their people and raise the bar of governance at the grassroots.

“It is my fervent belief that the implementation of lofty initiatives and people-centered policies and programmes will begin in earnest so as to restore the lost glory and bring development to the masses’ doorsteps”, Abiodun affirmed.
