…Charges Polytechnic Community to pray for Adeleke’s victory in August Election

As Muslims all over the world celebrate the Eid-el-Fitr feast, which ends the thirty days of spiritual dedication the Rector, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Mr. Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi, has charged Islamic faithful in the institution to remain steadfast and dedicated to the service of God and humanity.

Mr Alabi in a statement to the polytechnic community said the thirty days of fasting and prayer was a unique session which was fervently devoted for spiritual rejuvenation, devoid of sins, but to seek the favour of God.

He congratulates the Muslims and charged them to remain focused and keep the light of their faith burning by not going back to all the iniquities abandoned during the Ramadan.

Mr Alabi also charged the entire polytechnic community not to relent in their prayers for the State Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, in his bid to paddle the canoe of the state to a safe harbour.

He said, the governor’s impact in the educational development of the state is overwhelming, saying that “we have seen the light of transformation the governor has brought to the state, especially in the areas of education, roads construction, health services, improved welfare and social services. His concern for education is admirable.

“In the light of this, we should use today’s celebration to pray for the governor’s victory in the August gubernatorial election, to enable him continue with the good work in Osun State”, Alabi said.
