OSPOLY Rector, Kehinde Alabi Commends Osun Gov on Workers Welfare

…Felicitates Workers on May Day Celebration

The Rector, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Comrade Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi has congratulated Nigerian Workers, especially the entire workforce in the Polytechnic on the celebration of the year 2026 Workers’ Day celebration.

Comrade Alabi specifically commended the three Labour Unions in the Institution; Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Polytechnics (SSANIP)and Non Academic Staff Union (NASU) for their display of maturity and cooperation with Management of the Institution, which according to him, had made the Polytechnic peaceful and as well recorded laudable achievements in the last three years, saying “when you have matured minds as labour leaders in an institution, they will always join hands with the management to ensure that progress and stability reign in the institution.”

He averred that the welfare of the staff and students of the Polytechnic is his utmost priority.

“Today, we celebrate the hardworking men and women whose dedication, resilience, and commitment keep our nation moving forward. The daily efforts, sacrifices, and determination are the foundation of progress and the strength behind every success we have recorded in our institution.

“Workers are truly the builders of the nation, shaping a brighter future through honest labour and service. May our efforts continue to be rewarded, our dreams fulfilled, and our lives filled with peace, prosperity, and happiness.

“I also use this medium to thank our God sent Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, for his love for workers in the State and particularly in our Institutions of learning. Apart from payment of our outstanding salaries, granting of our promotions as at when due with all our emoluments includive is an unprecedented achievements which we have never had in the State, ” Alabi stated.
