A newly inaugurated museum in Saudi Arabia showcases the illustrious career of football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Devoted fans of Ronaldo can explore a one-of-a-kind collection of his personal memorabilia, such as match-worn jerseys, awards, and iconic footwear, providing an intimate glimpse into the life of this football legend.
Spanning from Ronaldo’s initial strides onto the pitch to his record-breaking milestones, the CR7 Museum exhibits artifacts chronicling every facet of his career across major soccer leagues, including his current accomplishments with the Saudi club Al Nassr.
“This is My Story. From Madeira to Saudi Arabia my CR7 Signature Museum now open in Riyadh,” the museum’s official account wrote on Instagram, in a post co-authored by Ronaldo and his more than 600 million followers.
Within the museum, interactive displays bring to life Ronaldo’s most memorable matches and championships, offering visitors a unique opportunity to witness the array of trophies and medals earned by the soccer icon, including his five esteemed Ballon d’Or awards.
Cristiano and his wax figure
Ronaldo has been immortalized in wax statues worldwide over the years, with one gracing Madame Tussauds. In a historic moment just before the 2022 World Cup, a wax figure of Ronaldo was unveiled in Times Square, New York.
He loves them, too. In 2015, Ronaldo reportedly invested over $20,000 to acquire a wax figure by the same sculptor responsible for Madrid’s Museum of Wax, before displaying it in his Madrid residence.
Ronaldo is still writing history
Continuing his remarkable form, Ronaldo recently secured a brace against Al-Akhdoud in a 3-0 victory in the Saudi Pro League, setting a new record for the most top-flight goals in football history at 527. His second goal, a remarkable long-range lob with no goalkeeper under the crossbar, added yet another highlight to his immense career.
