Ifeanyi Ejiofor, lead lawyer to Nnamdi Kanu has confirmed the hearing of Kanu’s case at the Federal High Court Abuja on Thursday.
In a short statement on Wednesday night, Ejiofor said the hearing will consider the legal team’s pending applications.
These will include the request for bail of their client.
“Greetings UmuChineke, we wish to notify you that Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case has been fixed tomorrow, 2nd December, 2021, at the Federal High Court, Abuja, for the hearing of our pending applications.
“As always, your fervent prayers are solicited. VICTORY is our only goal and it will surely be achieved.
“Thank you all for your support and prayers thus far”, Ejiofor wrote
P.M.News reported earlier that there were indications that Kanu’s request for bail could be heard tomorrow.
The request could sail through, though the IPOB leader had breached the terms of an earlier bail in the long drawn case.
The reason is attributed to the intervention of Igbo elders, who made an appeal to President Buhari recently to drop the treason charge.
