Osun Govt, CSDA Extend Rehabilitation Of Schools, Digging Of Boreholes To Rural Communities

As part of efforts of the government to touch lives of the residents at the grassroots, Osun state government in conjunction with the Community and Social Development Agency, (CSDA) on Wednesday commissioned three blocks of classrooms in Osun communities.

The Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, who commissioned a block of 3 classrooms at Baptist Day School, Ogburo, a block of 2 classrooms in community primary school, Elepo in Ola-Oluwa local government and a block of 2 classrooms at D.C primary school, Elemo, Adana, Iwo West LCDA In Osun.

The governor who also commissioned borehole for the people of Ajagba town, in Bode-Osi Community Ola-Oluwa local government reiterated his commitment to build a vibrant State where social infrastructures are within the reach of every citizen of the State.

Oyetola who was represented by the Commissioner For Rural Development And Community Affairs, Prince Segun Olanibi urged the beneficiaries of the projects to maintain and make good use it.

He enjoined the people of the state to continue and maintain peaceful co-
existence at all times.

He said, “I must thank you all for cooperating with this government

Also speaking, the chairman of Ola-Oluwa local government, Engr. Oyediran Azeem commended governor Adegboyega Oyetola for the timely response to Ajagba community.

Engr. Azeem said that Ajagba community is one of the community that is suffering from drinkable water in the state.

According to the council boss, “We thank God, we thank Mr Governor and the world Bank that assisted this remarkable project. Ajagba community is one of the community that has been suffering from the portable water supply from a very long year’s.

“This portable water supply will cushion effect of unavailability water in the community.

In her word, Osun State General Manager of Social Community Development Agency, Mrs Aderonke Abokede congratulated communities who benefited from the agency’s largely funded projects.

Abokede acknowledged the support of World Bank and Governor Gboyega Oyetola towards the success of the projects.

Commending the government and CSDA for the intervention project, Babatunde Aminu said he is full of joy, added that drinkable water will now be easily access by the community residents.
