A Voice Too Loud To Ignore: K-RAD , The On And Off Politician Who APC Should Not Sponsor – Wasiu Adebayo

The great poet John pepper Clerk in one of his poems titled Abiku says “Coming and going this several season,do stay out on the baobab tree,the skin are tired ,the milk is sour…”

The poetic device used by the great scholar best fits the character of an Osogbo born lawyer ,and senior Advocate of Nigeria,Kunle Rasheed Adegoke also known as K-Rad.

Though a brilliant Lawyer who is making waves in his callings,but K-Rad,did not know what staying with people,listening to their plights and assisting them entails.

Perhaps he never knew that people cherishes accessibility in politics.

Right from the days of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola,K-Rad had always shown interest for various political positions ranging from governorship to senatorial seat.

But up till today,his people,even in Osogbo where he was born have no trust in him.

One may ask why?the answer is not far fetched as Kunle Adegoke S.A.N only comes around when politics is heightened and will only come with the idea of obtaining his political party’s ticket not minding his non acceptability.

Immediately K-Rad loses such a ticket,he goes on political vacation,only to resume in the next four years,when the doors for another contest are opened .

On and off K-RAD has come again,first,he contested the APC governorship candidate ticket,he lost,since then never remembered his constituent even if it was to assist the less privileged,but lo! and behold he has re -appered to contest Osun central senatorial ticket.What a political comedian!.
The question begging for an answer is,Is Mr.Kunle Adegoke K-RAD so arrogant that he thinks people of his constituent are not of the caliber he can relate with? If that is the case,there is a great task for the leadership of the All progressives Congress to take a necessary action during the contest for the Osun central senatorial ticket,as Mr Kunle Adegoke S.A.N should be seen as a toddler in politics who should use this present moment to learn the rudiments of the game and perhaps be given the chance in the nearest future.

The All progressives Congress is in dear need of Osun central to win vital elections ahead,therefore,a candidate with record of accessibility should be considered and not the on and off K-RAD.
