The Lawmaker Representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State at the National Assembly, Representative Bamidele Salam has officially released the names of successful applicants for the BS-E4 business and leadership bootcamp 2024.

This was made known on Friday, 23rd February, 2024 through a press statement personally signed the lawmaker.

The Statement reads, “Recall that on 4th January 2024, we opened the portal to receive applications for the annual BS-E4 Business and Leadership Bootcamp. The application lasted for 2 weeks and closed on 19th January 2024.

“This is to officially announce the successful applicants who have been shortlisted for the Bootcamp after thorough, careful, and objective selection processes.

“A total of 1,323 applications were received within the application window. Out of which, 526 were from Ede North, 253 from Ede South, 386 from Egbedore, and 158 from Ejigbo. An independent panel of judges was engaged to grade the applications using applicants’ skill sets, business types, and business ideas as expressed through the application essay and other important prompts.

“It is commendable to state that the majority of the applicants demonstrated potential for selection, however, due to logistical constraints, we can only accommodate a limited number of participants physically. Therefore, we are shortlisting only the best 400 whose applications were more outstanding.

“I use this medium to congratulate those who made the selection. This is an opportunity to prove yourselves and make the best out of this lifetime opportunity for personal growth and development.

“Successful candidates will be formally communicated on their selection and provided with further information about the Bootcamp. In the meantime, a full list of the shortlisted candidates can be accessed through this link:

“Meanwhile, to those who couldn’t make the selection, we have made arrangements for virtual participation through Zoom. The general public can also follow the event online through the social media live-streaming sessions. More details on this will be provided in the coming days.

“While recognizing the need for both capacity-building and capital support to make the business aspirations of the participants realized, it’s instructive to state that THIS IS NOT A FREEBIES MONEY-SHARING PROGRAMME BUT A MENTAL EMPOWERMENT & BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES PROGRAMME to enable participants to leverage the opportunity of business orientation and networking to support the growth and development of their business initiatives.

“I am glad to report that a number of government organisations and financial institutions like the Bank of Agriculture, Nigerian Export Promotion Council, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, Corporate Affairs Commission, First Bank Plc, Fidelity Bank plc, Bank of Industry and several others have indicated an interest in the Bootcamp.

“Leading Business and Leadership coaches as well as successful entrepreneurs have also accepted to speak at the event.

“I am very hopeful that it will be another very rewarding experience as I wait to welcome you to the BS-E4 Business and Leadership Bootcamp 2024.”
