Old Students Visits Ojedele as He Emerges Zone XI PPRO

The 1996/2002 set of Osogbo Grammar School (OGS), has felicitated the new Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, Zone XI Command of the Nigerian Police, SP Ojedele Olanrewaju Tunji.

A statement by the Publicity Secretary of the set, Comrade Oluwole Olasunkanki, disclosed that the team was led by the president of the set, Comrade Tunde Adedipe, on a courtesy visit to the Zone XI, Osogbo, on Friday.

They reminded Tunji that Nigerians are expected more fro. him, urging him to project the image of the Nigerian Police for the better.

Adedipe urged the new PPRO to be a good image maker of the command, advising him to be friendly with the media.

He advised him to take advantage of members of the set who are journalists in the Zone and ensure good synergy with media stations for the promotion of successes of the police.

“Nigerians only talk about the bad eggs among the police. People like you are hardly mentioned. It, therefore, behoves on you to let the world know the good things that this zone is doing by engaging the media for the benefit of the command,” Adedipe said.

The association prayed for the new PPRO to succeed in his new assignment.

Responding, Tunji who is a member of the Board of Trustees of 2002 set of Osogbo Grammar School, expressed joy over the visit and prayer.

He urged them to continue praying for him, assuring that he would strive to discharge his duties without fear or favour.

The new PPRO also urged Nigerians to be praying for police, particularly as they battle banditry and kidnapping.
