Management Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has finally bowed to pressure from human rights activists as it issued Higher National Diploma,HND, to Bolaji Olaniyi, a former Students Union Government,SUG,
of the school.
It was gathered that human rights activists had earlier written the school management to release the result of the former president.
Olaniyi, who was suspended as the students leader for a year which elapsed at the end of 2020 due to the vandalization of the school medical department by aggrieved students.
The medium gathered that the aggrieved students protested against the death of one of their colleagues who collapsed inside the hall during examination rushed to the school medical but later died on the way to hospital outside the campus after the medical staff of the school did not attend to him.
