N-Power, a federal government empowerment programme has empowered 2,750 youths who had done the two year programme in Kaduna on business skills.
There were over 17,000 N-Power beneficiaries in Kaduna State who are mostly youths since the programme was started by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development in the country.
The Lead Training Consultant for Urebacafe Technologies Abuja, Bello Usman, disclosed this while briefing newsmen during the training in Kaduna, said Kaduna Central zone has 2,000 beneficiaries while the Zaria zone has 750 beneficiaries trained.
He said, “We trained 2,750 graduates as the first batch of the training and the state has about 17,000 N-Power beneficiaries since the beginning of the programme. For us, the training is the first starter pack for the graduating beneficiaries because the graduates need to have skills before embarking on any business,” he said.
