By Ismail Azeez, Osogbo.

Osun Concern Youths have gave Governor Gboyega Oyetola two weeks ultimatum to address their
demands on disbanded Special Anti-robbery Squad and Police brutality on residents of State, while suspended the longest EndSars protests in the state capital.

The protesting youths said they are ready to shield their swords and allow peace to reign once the government also ready to replicate the same by meeting their demands .

Recall, Governor Gboyega Oyetola had on Thursday inaugurate a 12-man judicial panel of enquires saddled with mandate to investigate human rights abuse of the operatives of disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad on residents of the state.

One of the leaders of the EndSARS protesters in Osogbo, Osun State capital, Comrade Oluwaseun Adebisi Emmanuel, stated their demand while addressing his colleagues at the popular Olaiya junction, their usual convergence spot said, those boys who were killed are promising Nigerians and we want immediate Justice for them.

Emmanuel further said they will move their protest out of the highway in order to allow commuters and motorists to use the popular Olaiya Gbangan express way without any instructions.

“According to him, “The government should come out and immediately arrest of those SARS personnel that killed our brothers in our midst and face the penalty. Two of our brothers were killed on Saturday which is 9th day of our peaceful protest.

“In this tussle have demands that face the Federal, state government and local constituency, if Governor cannot meet national demands because he don’t have the power but let him meet the state demand.

“We don’t want the government to tell us that they dismissed those SARS personnel and transfer them to other state to live their life while this people have put some family into sorrow and agony”. he said

Earlier, the Commissioner for Special Duty, Honorable Olalekan Badmus, while speaking assured the angry youths that Osun Government under the leadership of Governror Gboyega Oyetola would look into into their requests and would meet up with their demands.
