The Special Adviser to Osun State Governor on Works and Transport, Engr Hussein Olaniyan Olatoke has congratulated Governor Gboyega Oyetola, his wife Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola and entire people of the state on the occasion of this year Ei-Del-Kabir.
The Special Adviser admonished the people to use Sallah celebration to pray for Governor Oyetola’s led government in the state.
Engr Olatoke made this known on Saturday in his congratulatory message to Mr Governor and made available to journalists in Osogbo the Osun State capital.
The Iragbiji born politician who was happy for the people oriented programmes of Governor Oyetola towards the betterment of the citizens prayed for continuous God’s favour to the incumbent administration in the state.
His words, “I want to admonish every Muslim brothers and sisters to use this period of celebration to pray fervently for Mr Governor most especially now that the July 16 governorship election is around the corner.
” Please for God sake, let us demonstrate our unalloyed support to Governor Oyetola’s second term bid for him to be victorious come next week Saturday.
“I want the entire people of the state to appreciate the little Mr Governor has done towards the transformation of the state in terms of developmental projects which had already adding glamour to all nook and cranny of the state. The way we should appreciate him is for us to troop out enmas and cast our votes for him, don’t let anybody deceive us that day please”.
“Already, Governor Oyetola’s administration has been banishing hunger among the people of the state, he makes life more bearable, adequate welfare of rural dwellers, vulnerable, youths, aged people, and artisan.
” Mr Governor is a workers and pensioners friendly as he attends to their welfare and betterment as and when due while his support to the development of youths, transportation workers as well as farmers and education sectors cannot be over emphasised” Engr Olatoke stated.
The Osun SA Works and Transportation however called on the people of the state to continue to be law abiding, urging them to shun any act that may lead to political clash saying Governor Oyetola is a complete man of peace and he does not want anything that would truncate the already existing peace in the state.
