Argentina goalkeeper, Emi Martinez stormed his country’s World Cup parade on Tuesday carrying a baby doll with Kylian Mbappe’s face.
To make matters worse, the Aston Villa goalkeeper was holding the doll standing next to Kylian Mbappe’s Paris Saint-Germain team-mate Lionel Messi.
The Aston Villa goalkeeper was the South American nation’s hero in the final of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup as his vital save in extra time denied Randal Kolo Muani a potential goal.
He also stopped two penalties during the shootout to help his country clinch the trophy in Doha.
He had earlier mocked Mbappe in Argentina’s dressing room when they celebrated immediately after the win.
Mbappe scored a hat-trick for France in the final to win the tournament’s Golden Boot.
And now Martinez has continued to mock the 23-year-old superstar, who won his first World Cup with France at the age of 18.
During Tuesday’s bus parade, Martinez was seen carrying a doll which had a picture of the France striker’s face.
