The Olufon of Ifon-Orolu, in Orolu local government area of Osun State Oba Almaroof Adekunle Magbagbeola Olumoyero II has joined his ancestors.
The first class monarch died on Tuesday after a brief illness.
Although no official communication from the palace as at the time of filing this report, InsightMedia reliably gathered that the Oba Olumoyero died after a brief illness.
Mourners, mostly residents of the town have gathered at the palace of the monarch to sympathize and express sadness over the development.
When contacted by InsightMedia, the National Publicity Secretary of Ifon-Orolu Progressive Union, Prince Jide Akinyooye, kept mum on the development.
He simply said, “wait for official communication from the governor.”
