Ebenezer Adurokiya – Warri
There’s palpable tension in Warri, Warri South Local Government Area, as the presence of security agents is heavy, especially around the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office at Esisi road.
One armour tank and five gun trucks were seen stationed near the INEC office with a number of operatives of the joint task force taking strategic positions.
Delta is among states announced by INEC on Saturday to recommence voting exercise in places where election materials arrived late.
Recall that most electorates in Warri South were disenfranchised on Saturday following the late arrival of materials to polling centres in the local government, a situation that has agitated voters most of whom embarked on a peaceful protest.
