The re-elected Lawmaker of Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber, Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke has dedicated his landslide victory in the February 25 election to the good people of Ijesa-North, consisting of Obokun and Oriade Local Government areas, saying their trust and belief in him would not be jilted.

The Esa-Oke born political icon lauded the commitment, dedication, zeal and passion demonstrated by the constituents to achieve the success he recorded at the poll.

Oke , in a statement he personally signed on Monday commmended his teeming supporters and members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the constituency.

In a Thank You message personally signed by him, Hon.Oke said “this victory belongs to God and the good people of Ijesa North Federal Constituency, for the trust and confidence they reposed in me to represent them at the House of Representatives once again, I value, cherish and treasure the contributions of all our party leaders, members, traditional rulers, students, youths, market womenand artisans, Obokun and women,Oriade Progressive members, and all my supporters in and outside the constituency for their physical and spiritual assistance in achieving this impressive victory in the history of Ijesa North Federal Constituency.

“The success we have recorded so far in human capacity development, youth and women empowerment, social welfare of constituents, infrastructure development, jobs creation, projects facilitation and even development of all towns and wards in Ijesa North Federal Constituency shall be sustained and improved upon.

“I thank you all for being there for me from the first hurdle of winning the party ticket, rigorous campaign activities and your resilience and untiring efforts in ensuring my emergence to represent you again at the Green Chamber as a Law Maker in the 10th Assembly.

“We shall continue to win together. Thanks and God bless you all my beloved constituents.
Just like a typical American will say ” l cannot thank you finish,”he said.
