The Osun State Polytechni, Iree, Students Union Government President, Samson Ajao, Popularly know as Impeccable, has warned the new admitted Students into the institution not to involve themselves in ilegal association as they are offered 2020/ 2021 admission.
Ajao gave the warning on Tuesday, at the freshers orientation programme organized by the the institution SUG, he said the students should distance themselves in activities that can dent their image and the school.
Speaking at the programme, the SUG president stressed that the orientation programme was organized for the fresh Students in order to sensitize on good moral and character.
He noted that the 3-day event was targeted at resuscitating education spirit and to discover talents among the students.
He urged the students to identify their area of specialization and be creative for the development of the society, adding that the essence of coming to school is to acquire knowledge for the benefit of humanity.
According to him, “The Students Union Government freshers orientation programme of the 2020/2021 academic session was organized to resuscitate the education spirit in the Students.
“There is awareness on the first day of the programme where we have the former President that served in 1996/1997, Barrister Amusan Johnson in amidst to tap from his wealth of experience.
“We also have inter-faculties debate to encourage our students and prepare them ahead of any challenges.”
