The Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA) has announced the maiden Osun Digital Media Week 2023.

In a statement signed on Monday by its chairman, Jare Tiamiyu, said Part of the program to celebrate this year’s edition is presentation of awards to individuals, Corporate brands for their outstanding and contributions to the development of our dear state.

The statement read, “I bring to the notice of the general populace in Osun State that Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA) will be holding her maiden Osun Digital Media Week 2023.

“This week-long activities is not only to celebrate ourselves and worthy individuals in Osun, it’s also to interrogate a very crucial issue that’s affecting the world including Osun State – the climate change with the theme ‘DIGITAL MEDIA & CLIMATE CHANGE: The Nexus’.

“Part of the program to celebrate this year’s edition is presentation of awards to individuals, Corporate brands for their outstanding and contributions to the development of our dear state.

“These awards we believe will encourage them to do more for the progress of Osun State and winners shall emerge from a transparent voting process that will be done by the general public.

Nominees for each category have been carefully selected through a thorough analyses of their track records in their respective endeavors and they have been listed for an online voting between Monday November 27 and 11 December, 2023 where the person/corporate brand with highest votes will be given the award.

“We want to urge the general public to see this as an opportunity to support individuals and brands that have been outstanding in their fields.

“Special awards of recognition shall also be given to individuals who have in one time or the other served the State an its people and those who have been part of the development process of our association through supports.

“Winners will be presented their awards at Ben-Ber Hall beside Reginal Suite, Ring Road, Osogbo, on December 20, 2023.

“Other information regarding this program “Osun Digital Media Week 2023” will be make known during press briefing which will hold on December 18, 2023.
