Rep. Bamidele Salam Unveils 105 Winners Of 2024 Business Grants

Representative Bamidele Salam, member of the House of Representatives representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State, has announced the winners of the 2024 Business Grants component of the annual BS-E4 Business and Leadership Bootcamp.

A total of one hundred and five young entrepreneurs from the constituency will share a sum of thirty million Naira in cash and equipment support.

According to the release, “The business grant contest was the culmination of the recently concluded Business and Leadership Bootcamp, which empowered 400 young graduates and aspiring entrepreneurs in the constituency.

The Bootcamp, held from March 7th to 9th, 2024, aimed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in business and leadership.

A panel of judges screened and assessed a total of 205 submitted business proposals, using criteria such as business sector, equity contribution, required capital support, business feasibility, and business sustainability model.

The selected candidates represent a diverse range of sectors, including agriculture, ICT, science, technology, engineering, fashion, shoe-making, trading, and general merchandise.

The selection also ensured a spread across the four Local Government Areas in the Federal Constituency, with 70 male and 35 female candidates selected.

The full list of the 105 selected candidates can be accessed through the link provided. Shortlisted candidates are advised to note that necessary arrangements for orientation and documentation processes will commence immediately.
