As Christians around the world celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Grand Chief Imam of Erinmo-Ijesa, Shiek [Imam] Muh Qoseem Muh L awwal, has congratulated the Elerinmo of Erinmo-Ijesa, Oba Dr. Michael Odunayo Ajayi, Arowotawaya 11, the Elerinmo In Council and entire Christian counterpart on the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
According to the Grand Chief Imam of Erinmo-Ijesa in his Christmas Congratulatory Message to Kabiyesi the Elerinmo of Erinmo-Ijesa issued and made available to newsmen on Tuesday congratulated the Kabiyesi and his royal family for the annual festival.
“Kabiyesi Sir, you deserve to be celebrated for the fatherly roles you have been playing with every one of us both the Christians and Muslim communities in Erinmo-Ijesa as you have made us to be relating together with complete love.
“I personally did not regret coming your way as I have gain a lot from you and your efforts in promoting people cannot be over emphasised. Kabiyesi, you are always contributing to the development of our town which is contributing to the happiness and betterment of we residents, Baba we are highly elated to have you as our traditional ruler, you are wonderful and we are calling on other traditional rulers to emulate you” the Chief Imam said.
Shiek [Imam] Muh Qoseem Muh L awwal, urged Christians in the town and Nigeria as a whole to use the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ to remain committed to the unity of Erinmo-Ijesa and Osun State.
“On behalf of [LAWAL FAMILY Home and Diaspora, Kabiyesi E ku Odun o, you shall continue to live long in the name of the Almighty Allah”.
The Grand Chief Imam assured that the Muslim community would continue to work with their Christian counterparts to sustain the peaceful and harmonious relationship in Erinmo-Ijesa.
