As the the ongoing Ramadan entered the 5th day, just as Christians all over the world commence their Lenten Season today, the Rector, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Mr. Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi, has charged both Muslims and Christians in the polytechnic community to be more prayerful.
Mr Alabi in a Statement personally signed by him urged members of the polytechnic community to use this holy season to pray for peace in Osun State and the country at large.
According to him ” I call on all members of the polytechnic community to re-dedicate their lives to their creator at this holy season of Ramadan and Lenten season.
“Let us use this period to pray for absolute peace and tranquility in Osun, good health, love, unity, progress and prosperity in our community.
“This period is a period of abstinence from sins, forgiveness of one another, renewal of our faith and alms giving. We should re-dedicate our selves and shun all forms of iniquities”, the Rector charged.
