EPL: Crystal Palace Shelve Plan To Send Uche Back To Getafe

Christantus Uche will remain at Crystal Palace until the end of the season, DAILY POST reports.

The Nigeria international arrived at Selhurst Park from Spanish club Getafe on a season-long loan on deadline day.

Uche has, however, struggled to settle in his new environment.

There are reports that Palace are considering sending him back to Getafe in January.

Standard Sport has now reported that the Eagles want to keep the midfielder until next summer, following his impressive performance in the 2-1 win at Fulham last weekend.

With Uche not in contention for Nigeria’s squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, he is expected to play a key role for Oliver Glasner’s side during the busy festive period.

The 22-year-old has made five league appearances for the London club.
