APC Hosts 8th National Convention, Sets Agenda for Party Unity, Renewed Hope

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has formally announced its 8th National Convention, scheduled to hold on March 27 and 28, 2026, at Eagle Square, Abuja.

In a statement released by the party leadership, the convention—tagged “Unity in Progress: Consolidating the Renewed Hope Agenda” will bring together party leaders, stakeholders, and delegates from across the country to deliberate on the future of the ruling party and strengthen internal cohesion.

The event is expected to serve as a platform to reaffirm the party’s commitment to national development and democratic ideals.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, will attend as the Special Guest of Honour, underscoring the importance of the gathering in shaping the direction of the party and its policies under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The convention is being convened under the leadership of Mai Mala Buni, Executive Governor of Yobe State and Chairman of the Convention Planning Committee, alongside Co-Chairman Mohammed Idris, Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation.

Party officials noted that the convention will feature key deliberations, strategic discussions, and resolutions aimed at consolidating party unity, enhancing governance, and positioning the APC for future electoral successes.

Members of the party and invited delegates have been urged to participate actively in the convention, which is expected to draw a large turnout of political leaders and stakeholders nationwide.
