Oyelami Mobilise Support for AMBO, Disburse N50,000 Grants to over 700 vulnerable citizens in Isokan South LCDA, Ikoyi
The Executive Chairman, Isokan South LCDA, Ikoyi, Hon (Prince) Wasiu Oyetunji Oyelami MBA, FCA, in Ikoyi with teeming supporters described AMBO’s ambition as “people-oriented project” focused on bringing unrivalled development to the entire Osun State.
The gathering; well attended by APC leaders, members, supporters, traditional rulers, market men and women, workers, artisans, and leaders from far and near witnessed the official disbursement of N50,000 cash grants to over 700 beneficiaries in the LCDA, the gesture which is geared towards alleviating the sufferings of vulnerable citizen at this hard times in the council area.
Prince Oyelami added further that everyone of us should work day and night to ensure AMBO (APC) is victorious come August 15th. He told the gathering that AMBO is coming to industrialise Osun State.
The occasion also marked the official flag-off of opening of rural road from Oranran Village to Alamo to Mopa (over 15 kilometres). This is to give over 35 villages easy avenues to bring farm produce to the urban areas.
Also, the Chairman, Isokan Local Government main council, Apomu, Hon Goke Michael Odetunde, corroborate Prince Oyelami on the need for the people to support AMBO’s ambition.
Earlier last Monday the two Chairmen gave ten units of motor bikes to different section of the two towns to support most importantly some paramilitary outfits in the two communities.
Also speaking at the event, the former Chairman, Isokan Main Council, Hon Akeem Oladeni Badiru commended the two Council Chairmen for working assiduously towards the development of the two ancient communities, Apomu and Ikoyi and its environs.
The APC Chairman in Isokan South LCDA, Ikoyi, Hon Adesina Waheed in his own submission summarised the opening of road that the Government of Hon. Oyelami wants to do as unique and it is the answer to the complains of neglect by the over 30 villages that will directly benefit in the grading project.
Alh. Waheed said that the villages affected had complained of neglect for over 20 years. He now told the enthusiastics villagers to reciprocate by casting their votes for the APC candidate in the person of Alhaji Munirudeen Bolarinwa Oyebamiji (AMBO) for the benefit of all and sundry.
