Osimhen Steps Up Recovery From Injury

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has stepped up his recovery from injury, DAILY POST reports.

Osimhen is currently recuperating from the arm injury he sustained during Okan Buruk’s side UEFA Champions League clash with Liverpool last month.

The 27-year-old spent last week working in the gym after undergoing surgery.

According to an update provided on Galatasaray’s official website, the forward has now started doing running drills on the field with the physiotherapist.

Osimhen is expected to return to full-team training on April 20.

It will put the powerful forward in contention to face Fenerbahçe in the Intercontinental Derby few days later.

Galatasaray will be away to Göztepe in a league game on Wednesday (today).
