Two members of the All Progressives Congress have been shot by the suspected political thugs of the party at an ongoing parallel congress of the party.
The hoodlums, according to eye witnesses, were led by a notorious political thugs in the state.
A faction of the APC, The Osun Progressives who are Aregbesola loyalists, is holding a parallel congress at OgoOluwa, Osogbo, while the IleriOluwa faction is holding another State Congress at Stadium.
The hoodlums were said to have invaded the TOP factional congress with about eight vehicles and started shooting from the main road.
But operatives of NSCDC engaged the hoodlums in gun duel.
However, the hoodlums shot two members of the APC, Adedolapo Atobatele and Ismail Akinyede.
