The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), Osun State Command has deployed personnel to all communities across the State, to fortify the security architecture during the forthcoming Easter celebrations.

In a release issued by the Civil Defence Public Relations Officer, DSC Adigun Daniel and obtained by this medium, charged the parents and guardians to warn their children and wards to avoid actions and conduct that could breach the relative peace being enjoyed in the State.

The State Commandant, Abdulkadir Sulu said more than a thousand of its personnel across the State have been deployed to protect critical national assets and infrastructure.

Sulu charged every law-abiding individual to go about their legal activities without any fear, adding that the State Command is ready to deal decisively with any miscreants or groups who might want to disrupt the peace and create unnecessary tension in the State.

The State Commandant urged the people to be more vigilant of the type of vehicles they board to ensure that the details of such vehicles are communicated to their relations while traveling.

According to him, “Residents of the State are encouraged to report suspicious persons or activities they notice to the nearest offices of security agencies across the State.

” Vandals of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure should steer clear especially those involved in illegal connection to the National grid.

“Commandant Sulu felicitates with the Christian Community and prays that the lessons learned from the season will be used to strengthen and consolidate National Unity for the progress of our dear nation, Nigeria.

Meanwhile, the Civil Defence Corps could be reached on the following phone numbers, in case of any emergency: 08062085647/08055700350.
