Ijesha North Political Appointees have came out to refute claims made by Hon. Wole Oke regarding Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration.

The appointees, who are commissioners from Ijesa North Federal Constituency, expressed concern over the misrepresentation of facts by Hon. Wole Oke, who has represented Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency.

In a statement jointly signed by Hon. Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe ‘Commissioner for Cooperatives and Empowerment’, Hon. Mayowa Adejorin ‘Commissioner for Environment’, Otunba Tola Faseru ‘Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security’, said on behalf of All Political Appointees and the Good people of Ijesha North Federal Constituency.

According to them, “We, the commissioners from Ijesa North Federal Constituency, wish to address the recent claims made by Hon. Wole Oke regarding Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration and its impact on our constituency. It is imperative to set the record straight and highlight the substantial progress achieved under the leadership of Governor Adeleke.

“As founding members and committed stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), we are deeply concerned about the misrepresentation of facts by Hon. Wole Oke, who has represented Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency since 2003.

“It is disheartening and reprehensible to see a long-serving representative of our people spread misinformation that could potentially mislead our constituents,”, the Commissioners stated.

“Under Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration, Ijesa North Federal Constituency has witnessed significant strides in political inclusivity and infrastructural development:

For the first time in the history of Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, three commissioners have been appointed from the area:
– Hon. Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe (Iloko Ijesha, Oriade LG)
– Otunba Tola Faseru (Ijebu Jesa, Oriade LG)
– Hon. Mayowa Adejorin (Ikinyinwa, Obokun LG)

Additionally, the Governor has appointed:
– Three Special Advisers
– Over 10 Special Assistants
– Two Board Chairmen and numerous board members in various government agencies
– LGEA chairmen and members from both local governments

– Ongoing construction of 1.5 KM of roads in each local government of Ijesa North, nearing completion.

– Full rehabilitation and renovation of 13 Primary Health Centers in Oriade and Obokun.

– Construction of classrooms in more than 8 schools across Oriade/Obokun.
– Installation of motorized deep wells in several schools.

This week, Governor Adeleke will launch the imole Agropreneur model project at Imesi Ile,making Ijesha North the agricultural hub of the state.

All 22 wards in Ijesa North Federal Constituency have significantly benefited from the Ward-Based Cooperatives initiative launched by this administration.

These achievements, accomplished in less than two years, demonstrate Governor Adeleke’s commitment to the development of Ijesa North.

We urge Hon. Wole Oke to refrain from actions and statements that could potentially mislead our constituents and disrupt the unity of purpose needed for further progress. Our focus must remain on collaborative efforts to enhance the growth and development of our constituency.

We call on Honourable Oke not to drag Ijesha North into his political agenda

We reaffirm our commitment to working alongside Governor Adeleke and all stakeholders to ensure continued progress in Ijesa North and Osun State as a whole.
