The indigenous union of Osogbo,O.P.U has described the appointment of one of its sons Dr.Kamorudeen Kadri as the rector,Federal polytechnic Offa as another feather added to the cap of Osogbo.
The Osogbo progressives union in a statement signed by the National president Alhaji kamorudeen Makinde indicates that Dr.Kamorudeen Kadri(K.K) has always shown dexterity to the service of Osogbo and the nation as a whole.
The statement noted that the appointment as also shown the belief of the Nation in osogbo indigenes who are always proactive and game changer in every assignment given to them.
“We are delighted in the appointment of Dr.kamorudeen Kadri as the rector, Federal polytechnic Offa,and belief in his capacity as the institution’s helmsman”.
The statement therefore expressed convinction that Dr.Kamorudeen Kadri will employ his wealth of experience to effect the desired development at the Federal polytechnic Offa.
In the same vein the indigenous union of Osogbo people has described Prof.Shittu Olasunkanmi Hakeem as another pride of Osogbo,who has written the name of the ancient town in Gold.
Congratulating him on his recent appointment as a professor of hematology and blood transfusion the national executive of Osogbo progressives union under
Alhaji kamorudeen Makinde said he is a product of hardword,perseverance and Godliness.
“Prof.Shittu is a great son of Osogbo whose experience in the medical line is incomparable”
It called on him not to forget his osogbo country home most especially in the area of educational advancement.
The statement prayed Allah to continue to guide Dr, kamorudeen Kadri and professor Shittu Olasunkanmi Hakeem in their endeavours.
