The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi Adeyeye, Ojaja II, has extol Comrade Akinbode Olakolupo Oluwasegun on his recent election as the Chairman, Osun State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN.
The Ooni said in his Congratulatory Message to the newly elected NYCN Chairman, issued and made available to newsmen by his Media Unit that, his election was a timely honour towards the development of all the youths in Osun State.
Oba Adeyeye, who commended the National President of NYCN, Ambassador Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo, members of the National Executive Council, NEC alongside members of the Council in Osun State for showing their complete support to Comrade Akinbode towards his victory promised that the new State Chairman would not let them down.
The Ooni said further that, “As I am promising you of my unwavering support to you in your new office, I enjoin you to avoid overconfidence, remain focused and strategic in your approach.
“I want to advise you as well that, you should always demonstrate dedication, competence, and commitment to your Council as your members are watching you, their expectation is not only to see you representing them but also to deliver your promises in taking the NYCN to the greater height.
“Prove your capacity, be good ambassador and capability to make a difference in your new office to promote entire youths in Osun and do not betray the trust reposed in you”. The Ooni concluded.
