Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ido Osun, Egbedore Local Government have expressed their gratitude for Rep. Bamidele Salam’s commitment to the development and empowerment of the constituents of the Ede federal constituency.
The Chairman of PDP in Ido Osun, Hon. Rufus Oyafemi made the commentation on Tuesday during the ward meeting where the lawmaker was represented by his personal Assistant, Hon. Sunday Oyeyemi.
The members of the party warmly received Rep. Bamidele Salam, the lawmakers representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State at the National Assembly, at their ward meeting.
The Chairman assured Rep. Salam of their commitment to the party and the Governor, particularly in light of the Governor’s current efforts, and expressed their certainty of a second term for the Governor.
One of the party leaders, Alhaji Sanusi acknowledged the effectiveness and representation of Hon. Salam, expressing gratitude for not forgetting them.
He passed a vote of confidence on him to continue his excellent representation.
He also eulogised Salam’s initiatives on free medical treatment, bursary awards for indigent students, distribution of equipment for women, free JAMB forms for students, and many more, which have portrayed him as the savior of Egbedore politics through effective governance.
During the meeting, Rep. Salam through his representative Hon. Oyeyemi appreciated Ido Osun ruling party members for their unwavering support and love shown to him and the party.
He also expressed condolences for the recent passing of the Late Olojudo of Ido Osun, with a moment of silence observed in honor of the late king, Oba Aderemi Adedapo.
Salam urged the people of Ido Osun to continue supporting the administration of Governor Nurudeen Ademola Jackson Adeleke for effective governance to continue in the state.
In attendance at the meeting were Ido Osun LCDA Secretary Hon. Akin Alabi, who also expressed appreciation for Rep. Bamidele Salam, Comr. Odeyemi Muhydeen Oladele, and other political leaders from the ward.
